I'm passionate about changing public discourse on the people-place relationship
While much of my work engages directly with the design professions and industry, I believe the long-term transformation of our environments depends on something deeper: a shared understanding of how space influences behaviour, health, trust, and collective life.
I have hosted and contributed to screen-based programmes exploring the relationship between science, design, and the built environment.
For me, media engagement is a way to expand agency in others. When more people understand the people–place relationship, they are better equipped to question, demand, and contribute to environments that support human flourishing.

Interviews & Podcasts
Over the years, I’ve been interviewed across a range of platforms about my work, the origins of the Conscious Cities movement, and the practice of science-informed and conscious design.
These conversations often explore the ideas behind how neuroscience and psychology augment design knowledge, how technology is reshaping our environments, and why cultivating awareness in how we build matters for long-term social and cultural health.
I value interviews as spaces for reflection. They allow ideas to be unpacked more personally, and resonate more deeply.
Collaboration & Commentary
I regularly engage in public conversations across a wide range of formats, from academic panels, industry discussions, cultural programmes, and informal dialogue.
My goal is not simply to present expertise, but to open space for meaningful reflection on how environments shape our lives and what that means for the future.
I collaborate with journalists, producers, and editors to shape thoughtful features, background briefings, documentaries, and analytical pieces. If you are covering issues related to cities, architecture, technology, wellbeing, or the social responsibility of design, I’d love the opportunity to contribute perspective and depth.
